Software snags

Online learning platforms and applications can sometimes act up. Don't let software snags derail your studies:

  • Ensure your browser is up to date – we recommend using Google Chrome.
  • Trouble installing MS Office 365? Remember that you cannot install your MS Office 365 licence (as provided upon registration) if you have a previous version of this program installed on your device. You will need to delete the old version first.
  • If you log in to MS Teams and get the message “Join or Create Class”, it means that your class timetable has not yet been loaded. Please wait 24 hours or send an email to onlineschool@impaq.co.za if the problem persists.

Logged out?

In the welcome email you received upon registration, you will find a wealth of information regarding the systems we use and the relevant login details for each of the systems. For easy reference, click here.

TOP TIP: Keep all of your passwords in a safe and secure place.

Audio and/or video challenges

Effective communication is vital at the Impaq Online School, but audio or video problems can hinder communication. Here’s what you can do:

  • Ensure your device's built-in camera cover is open and that you are not accidentally muted.
  • If you’re using external devices (such as a camera or a second monitor), try plugging it out and back in again.
  • Restart or update your drivers. If this doesn’t solve the problem, you can try logging in with a different device to determine if the issue is related to a specific device.
