As your teen prepares for the next chapter in their lives, the Impaq Online School ensures they are ready for the next step. We launch them into the future with essential digital literacy skills and a focus on holistic development and academic success. Our expert teachers guide learners every step of the way as they get ready for an exciting future!

Compulsory subjects

The FET Phase includes four compulsory subjects:
  • At least one Home Language (English or Afrikaans)
  • A second language subject at Home Language or First Additional Language level (English, Afrikaans, or isiZulu)
  • Mathematics OR Mathematical Literacy
  • Life Orientation

  • Computer Application Technology (Grade 10 & 11 only available in English)

We believe in empowering every learner to reach their full potential. That's why we offer additional support options like:

  • Grade 12 Winter School: Intensive revision for matric learners.

Assessments

The following formal assessments are completed throughout the year:

  • Term tests, tasks, PATs and orals​
  • Grade 10 and 11: midyear and final exams
  • Grade 12: midyear, preliminary and final NSC exams

Our qualified teachers conduct, invigilate, and mark all assessments, so there’s no need to appoint an assessor or invigilator for subjects offered by the Impaq Online School! We use the Invigilator app to ensure accurate and fair results for all our learners.

The final Grade 12 NSC exam is administrated by the assessment body, SACAI, and candidates write these exams at dedicated venues across the country.

The estimated SACAI examination fees for Grades 10 and 11 start from R259, and Grade 12 fees start from R11 913.

What do I need to register?

Grades 10–12

  • A valid copy of the learner’s South African birth certificate/ID.
  • A computer or laptop with internet access and a reliable email address.
  • A successful final report on the CAPS curriculum from the previous year. Please refer to the Critical Enrolment Information and Subject Requirements before registering.
